More Than Just Martial Arts
The physical training of martial arts--balance, strength, flexibility, preconception , stamina--contribute to a healthy body.
The training on mental focus translates to kids who pay more attention in general and who learn better, especially subjects that are intricate and require deeper thinking.
But those are not all. They are not even the most important part of what we teach.
Tae Kwon Do
Even though differences do exist, for example, TKD came from Korea and Karate from Japan, they are more similar than different in how they are practiced today. They both offer physical and mental training and they both value respect, discipline, and traditions.
