Original Works ~ Dance Workshop

This workshop is designed for experienced and aspiring dancers who are looking to develop their choreographic skills into a variety of performance modes: Improvisational Scores, 
Ballet ~ Applied Choreography, Performance Art, Contemporary Modes, and 
Progressive Dance Theatre.  

 

The goal is to encourage co-creative collaboration through finding new interdependent pathways.

Workshop includes: A Master Class (taught by professional teachers and performers) prior to workshop. Floating dance floor, Sound System, live musician(s) if requested and an opportunity to showcase (if you choose), perform and/or add to portfolio.

Option to perform is the 3rd Saturday every month correlating with workshop.

Artist Collaborative Workshop

A once a month  peer to peer contemporary art workshop for artists whether aspiring or seasoned that are wanting to explore new ideas and mediums, receive supportive feedback and have the opportunity to showcase their work.  This is your chance to step out of your comfort zone and grow.

Around the World Dance Workshop

A Completely Unique and Immersive Class for Golden Age

Instructor ~ Tessy Tabish Brown

This class will have levels of modifications to meet needs of each individual dancer ie. the use of chairs, pillows if standing is difficult. 

​

An infusion of multicultural beauty, we will visit dance styles of many cultures around the world along with learning the traditions of music, food and language.  Starting with a warm up and ending in a cool down stretch series, together we will explore, learn and experience: Navajo pow wow, Middle East belly dancing, Chinese fan dance, Rawanda dance, Brazil Samba, Spanish Dance.  Please feel free to suggest a culture you may want to have us incorporate in this wonderful class.
